Underground Table Meals Ministry Volunteers Needed
Sign up for a shift to help the Underground Table by clicking the button below or by going to npchickory.org/undergroundtablevolunteers . Spots are available to help with distribution and delivery on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as well as to take reservations by phone.
Make Cards for Nursing Home Residents
Many of our neighbors in skilled nursing or rehabilitation facilities have been without social connection for some time now. We will be sending cards to 7 facilities in Hickory with cards for their residents. You can download a card to color or use cards of your own. You can drop cards off at the box in the Northminster breezeway or mail them to the church.
Make Gowns, Masks & Mask Guards
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is in high demand! You can make PPE at home for yourselves and for others.
GOWNS (donated to Carolina Caring Hospice)
MASKS (donated for our church family, Hickory Soup Kitchen employees and volunteers and others)
MASK GUARDS (crocheted guards for healthcare professionals)
Errands & Assistance
If you’re willing to pick up prescriptions, groceries or other essentials for elderly or vulnerable church members, information and contact person
