At Northminster, we view Christian education as an opportunity to explore our faith together in a nurturing community of believers. In Christ, we open our minds and hearts to the important tasks of learning about God through scripture and experience and applying that knowledge to our everyday lives.
On Sundays, we find creative ways for children to worship both in the morning service and during Children’s Church. The majority of our Christian education programming occurs on Wednesday nights with engaging activities for all ages. There are classes for infants and toddlers (Tots), elementary-aged children (Kid’s Club), Youth (WHAM), and special topical classes for adults.
There are additional opportunities for spiritual growth for families each year through our Advent Festival and Music Camp Vacation Bible School. Additionally, we work with the Child Development Center to provide educational opportunities for the children through chapel services and shared opportunities with the church.
